Still Here

I'm still here I have not abandoned you my dear friends. This will be short because I'm still sick, my dad is in the hospital, and of course I'm slammed at work. I hope to update soon.

I'm sick., so sick that I can't even get out of bed.

New Digs

I totally shouldn't be posting these pictures but oh well. Because I have nothing else to post right now ladies and gentlemen my new pad.

That wall took 4 coats of paint. NEVER. AGAIN. I also rearranged the pictures and added some shelves but I'm to lazy to take another picture. Don't you love my hand me down couch from my parents? Seriously it might not match but it so comfy.

Lovely bookshelves that also took four coats. By the way those are fresh flowers... I'm so grown up.

The bedroom... love this room because it only took one coat!

Can we please pay attention to my end table and how it looks like it came out of a catalog? I should work for Pottery Barn.  In case you were wondering that picture is of my parents on their wedding day 40 years ago! I love that photograph. Again take note of the fresh flowers.

Last but not least my attempt at a Devil's Wear Prada closet. Yes it's color coded... even my shoes.

woe is me

Goodbye skinny pants. Apparently in my mind numbing fit of jubilation I ordered three boxes of girl scout cookies last month. I remember doing so the day I my skinny pants fit and now its come back to bite me in the ass. I got to work this morning and there they were sitting on my desk taunting me. WHAT TO DO! Well maybe I'll have just one.

Now Taking Applications

CRAP. I just got an  email from work telling us to mark our calenders for the annual black tie affair in march that celebrates our company. A giant pat on the back for all of our hard work... a giant pain in my butt is what it is. I have to take a date and do I have one? NO. I really need to find a date mostly to avoid the awkward guy from my work out asked me out on my voice mail! MY VOICE MAIL. Ugh. I have a month and a half to find a date and now that I am faced with this situation I thought hmm... what do I want?

1. Funny
2. Brown Hair (depending on how close I am to the date of the party this might be negotiable)
3. look good in suit
4. Tall (well taller then I am)
5. he must be able to carry on a conversation
6. he must be able to keep me entertained when this party goes on to long and trust me it will
7. Someone I don't have to babysit
8. oh more importantly he must get me wine when they see my glass is empty (this is obviously the most essential qualification)
