Cars and I don't get along. Ever. I have had my share of accidents since I got my license 10 years ago. Whoa 10 years I just realized that was a long time ago. My first accident was the first day of spring break junior year I hit a guy from behind in front of all of my friends on a very busy street. Then after I hit him he pulled into a side street I followed and so did ten other cars that had all of my friends in them. He admitted he didn't have any insurance and he didn't really want to call the police and I knew that it was my fault so I agreed and then went to lunch. I then had to go home and face the music of telling my parents that I had wrecked my car. My friend Vanessa and I tried to make the front of my car look better before I broke the news to them but instead the bumper fell off in my driveway. Yeah that was a good day.
My second accident was in college when car backed up into me at a gas station and I couldn't open my passenger door for a week. Then after I got it out of the shop I immediately backed up into a dumpster. A DUMPSTER! It's not like they are tiny. These things are huge and ugly how could I miss that? I didn't get in trouble with my parents for that one because my mom had done the same thing a week before!
My fourth accident, in my third car, I was backing out and this girl hit me when she was going the wrong way on a one way. All I felt was a little tink and there was a small dent on the back of my bumper not too bad. Her car? TOTALED! And then she decided to sue me. WHEN SHE WAS GOING THE WRONG WAY ON A ONE WAY AND SPEEDING I MIGHT ADD! Needless to say she didn't win.
As my dad was driving out of the dealership this woman tried to get into his lane and hit my car. Again. I'm starting to think this is a genetic condition.
On Wednesday as I was getting onto the freeway to drive to Dallas this man tried to cross three lanes of traffic and hit my back right fender. I was pissed to say the least. I hadn't had an accident in three years and even though this wasn't my fault I feel as if my good driving record is shot and now
I will get into more accidents since the flood gates have now been opened. My car was still drivable so I decided to go on but about a third of the way there my car started making this horrible noise. I tried to drown it out with my method of just turning the radio up louder but that didn't work so I pulled off at a gas station to assess the damage. There I saw that my rear fender was flapping in the wind what was I supposed to do now? DUCT TAPE! Yes, I duct taped my car back together. I have never felt so ghetto in my life.
